1.8 m diamter at the base

3.2 m in length and weighs just over 8t

All dimensions were taken roughly but i will provide exact dimensions if required.

 

The timber is stored in Virginia water.

 

The purchaser would have to provide a method of extraction and transport.

I just milled some sequoia the other day and it's lovely stuff. A smaller tree (4ft or so at the base) but fantastic colour and as easy as anything to mill. I've never cut a softer wood.

Hi big j, I know what you mean! I thought I was going to have pretty hard time spending so long on spikes making the cuts, but it was like a knife through butter! hardest part was trying to get the long gaffs back out to walk around the stem! Knee popping fun
