Cherry - any tips

Cherry is just about my very favourite timber to burn, with the possible exception of burr elm (I just burn both species to wind up wood turners!). Round wood cherry burns great, seasons quickly, leaves a lovely bed of embers and gives off a good heat.

Brill firewood as mentioned but if there is some good sections why not make some chairs etc, I made a complete dining set, table and all from cherry wood.

One tip - keep the bark back and store separatly, it's like tar paper and will light a fire from a match.
