Glendale Countryside currently has a vacancy for a Lead Chargehand/Chargehand at our Estates Management operation from Exeter, Devon.

 

You will be responsible for the day to day implementation of all types of countryside work undertaken throughout Devon including a wide range of tasks from tree planting, fencing, scrub control, herbicide application, grass cutting, habitat management, woodland work for a variety of clients. The role requires meeting and liaising with customers on a daily basis, leading a small professional team so good organisational and personal skills are required.

 

Candidates should be able to demonstrate relevant countryside management skills, leadership experience, and hold recognised practical qualifications such as chainsaw / pesticide etc and hold at least 3-years experience in a similar field. A strong understanding and commitment to health & safety, and full UK drivers licence with ability to tow is essential.
