Hi everyone,

I know it's probably not the best time to be asking for some work due to the current economic climate, but needs must. I've just started a 1 year National Award at Brooksby Melton college which is only three days per week so for the remaining two days (Tuesday & Friday) I would like to gain some employment within the industry if possible. I'm prepared to do anything such as labouring, chipping, filling chainsaws up, making tea you name it? I just want to get a foot in the door and get some practical experience from within the industry.

I'm not afraid of hard work and I'm totally commited to making a go of it in this industry. I'm really enjoying the course so far but would like to start working with experienced people within the industry to further my knowledge.

During the course I will be taking my CS30,31,38,39 and should have at least one or two by Christmas. I've already had some experience of chipping at college so quite confident with that.

I already have chainsaw trousers, boots and helmet so no problems there. I also have a clean pre 97 driving licence which I've heard is pretty handy to have.

If there is anyone out there from the Leicester, Melton or surrounding area who has anything available or knows someone that may be able to help I would really be interested to hear from you.

Thanks

Gaz
