Utility bills

Who's switched of late? I've been with british gas for the past couple of years for both gas and electricity. I pay quarterly and give my own meter readings online. I haven't been bothered about shopping around for the best deals because I've always thought they are all the same at the end of the day. I recently heard of an energy provider called Ovo and some people on another forum swear by them. For a start their call centers are in the uk and they are supposed to have a competitive tarrif. To be quite honest british gas has too many payment plans and I've never known if I'm on the best one for me so I don't know if I'm getting ripped off. I do know that I don't use much gas at all due to my wood burner yet I still pay around £100 per quarter. That's with no central heating on
