I think we should all remember that the art of Arboricuture is an old skill that has been past down over the years and only recently within the last 25yrs or so Has gone through a rapid transformation into wot we see today as the art and skill we call modern arboriculture

When I first took up the saw I was given a new willans t20 not one of them modern ones with the padding t22 thingys and I worked off a 3 core rope advancing th multiplait cause someone let and I got tue rope also straight bowline and prussik none of them there prussik loops which were well excellent plus dragging around a big bow saw or a puter still 020 yep all good fun though talking to some of my colleagues that was there before me and basically they worked off hessian rope tied around the waist climbing big beech taking limbs off and through the winter months a gardener be..... in the all this less than 30 yes ago mad wits it got to offer in the next 30yrs ........laser saws and jet boots :)
