No problem! Yeah see what you mean, often there is dieback of the stem/petiol.

Whats the drainage like? Some of these fungi produce similar symptoms; Botryis, Pestalotia, Phyllosticta and Septoria..

Drainage is good, there is some shading from large Oak trees. Thanks for the suggestions, will read up on them and hopefully find out what it is. Phyllosticta looks interesting! Thanks again
