Evening all,

Anyone attending the above course with Land Skills Training, in Dorking.

Also, those that have done it, any advice recommendations on stuff to take?

I know it's a lot of VTA and Fungi ident with individual strategies and their effect on the tree, but any other help appreciated. :thumbup1:

Many thanks

Beezy

Hi, I did PTI there 2 years ago. Enjoyed it. Took a few books of recommended list but didnt use em.

Lots of photocopied handouts & a workbook that you go through in detail with the instructor/assessor - so if your unsure you can ask about anything. Although it is more of a refresher course with a test at the end than a 3 day cram.

The fungi part is an open book exercise - so you can take your own fungi id book or just use the ones provided during the test ... which takes the pressure off nicely.

Oh & a proper good walkabout through some big old beechwoods nearby.

Hope this helps & go fer it!

Cheers Agent-Arb,

Great heads up brother! looking forward to it tbh, do a fair few surveys with work already, so will be nice to have the competancy stamp, and be a good little refresh for my Tech cert re-sits in december.

cheers

Beezy
