Evening all,

I'm looking at a change in occupation, though I'm currently employed the desk job is killing me and I crave the outdoors.  I've been busying myself on my work holidays undertaking my CS30/31/38 - but not 39 yet (there's some logistical complications having done my initial 30/31 actually as the ICC1/2 course rather than with lantra before I found out the 2 similar course providers though practically identical aren't recognised by each other....).

In my spare time I've really enjoyed and been climbing, pruning and felling for friends and neighbours (mostly farmers who are happy to get odd jobs done for free/for wood).

2026 brings another 6-8 weeks of holidays and I'll happily take them early on getting some experience helping out a local firm preferably around Cumbria.  So if any one wants a free groundsman, or climber with his own kit for a few weeks here or there, in return I can get some experience of what doing tree work for a living looks like rather than for fun before I finally take the plunge and make the switch full time please get in touch.
