Groundsperson/Trainee Climber required Ross on Wye - immediate start

We are a family run professional tree care company based in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire delivering high quality arboricultural services to domestic and commercial clients. We are looking for a full time groundsperson to join our strong team. This is a full time employed position with all the security and benefits of employment and would suit someone new to the industry who is looking to develop. 

 

 

Minimum requirements:

At least 1 year of experience working on ground based chainsaw work

NPTC certificates in chainsaw cross cut and maintenance

First Aid (ideally with +F element)

Positive attitude and a passion for high quality tree work and clean up standards

Desire to develop climbing skill

Full UK driving licence

 

Desirable (but not essential as we will provide training for the right candidate):

NPTC certificates in Tree climbing and Aerial rescue / Using chainsaw from a rope and harness

 

What we can offer:

£26,000 - £30,000 starting salary range (dependent on experience)

All equipment, PPE and training provided

28 days holiday (including bank holidays), which increases after 12 months service
