We are a well-established, professional tree surgery company based in Southport, providing high-quality arboricultural services to domestic and commercial clients. Our team prides itself on safe, efficient, and high-standard work — and we’re looking for an experienced freelance climber to join us on a subcontract basis.

 

 

 

 

The Role

 

You’ll be working on a wide range of tree surgery tasks, including:

 

• Climbing and undertaking pruning, reductions, dismantles, and removals
• Ground operations and rigging where required
• Delivering work to BS3998 standards
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work site
• Representing the company professionally on-site

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

 

✅ Minimum 3 years’ climbing experience in professional tree surgery

✅ NPTC/LANTRA certificates: CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 (additional units an advantage)

✅ Excellent knowledge of modern climbing techniques and tree care standards

✅ Own climbing kit and PPE (LOLER compliant)

✅ Full UK driving licence (towing licence a bonus)

✅ Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to high-quality work
