Hi everyone,

I’ve recently taken on the role of National Account Manager for Northern England and Scotland at Lantra, and I’m keen to get a feel for what things are really like on the ground from those working in arboriculture and forestry.

I’m particularly interested in hearing your experiences around:

  • Demand for training in your area — are there specific courses or skills in high demand?

  • Finding trainers — have you found it easy or difficult to get the right trainers for the courses you need?

  • Availability — are courses available when you need them, or do you face long waits?

  • Travel — are most training opportunities within a reasonable commuting distance, or do you have to travel far?

I want to understand this from your point of view so I can help ensure the right training is available, in the right places, at the right time.

Any insights, frustrations, or positive stories would be really appreciated — either as a reply here or via DM if you prefer.

Thanks in advance,
Katy
