We bought our house this past fall . So we only saw leaves on the trees briefly. This is one the biggest oaks on the property and is just starting to bloom. I do have concerns of the things in the pictures below. We are located in Eastern Connecticut and oak wilt and Kretzschmaria deusta are prevalent. I'm just having a hard time telling why the tree looks the way it does. The canopy looked quite healthy last fall. The last image shows a hole that had grass in it that I cleared out.
