Hello

Back last year I relaunched the local Wales group of the Ancient Tree Forum. Primarily the aim of the ATF is to promote the value and importance of ancient, veteran and other notable trees to landowners, architects, planners, builders etc. in the hope that they seek out experts to retain and manage these trees properly. We aim to run field visits to sites that have ancient, veteran and other notable trees (AVoTs), discuss management, have talks, and just geek out in general.

If you would like to be involved in the ATF Wales Group, or simply attend some walk-and-talks, please get in touch by emailing [email protected]

I am always on the lookout for venues or sites that have AVoTs, so if you know of any trees that could be considered worty of a visit, please do let me know.

Thank you very much.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
