Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced tree climber and team leader for a friendly and hard working Arboricultural Association approved contractor.

The ideal candidate will have experience of some, or all of the following:

• Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting
• Felling Small Trees up to 380mm
• Safe Use of Manually Fed Woodchipper
• Safe Use of a Mobile Elevated Work Platform
• Emergency Tree work Operations
• Tree Climbing and Rescue Operations
• Safe Use of a Chainsaw from a MEWP
• Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw using free-fall techniques
• Award in Aerial Tree Rigging
• Emergency First Aid + F
• Full, valid driving licence is essential

Duties will include

• Climbing trees and ground based operations
• Organising and loading vans in the morning
• Driving vans and towing trailers
• Organising job sites and coordinating works on a day to day basis
• Communicating with customers and relaying information to the on site team
• Working in a range of environments in all weathers
• Communicating with the office about job progress or on site issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
