MPDT are interested in speaking to experienced Arborists and Tree Climbers looking to visit Australia on 417 Working Holiday Visa’s. Sponsorship opportunities will become available to candidates that complete 6 months’ work with us, on the 417 visa.

 

The Role

As a fast-growing vegetation management company, MPDT holds long-term contracts in energy, road, rail, and defence industries, servicing remote, rural, and urban areas across Queensland, Australia. You will be an essential part of our tree trimming crews, safely operating specialized equipment to trim, remove and maintain trees and vegetation on commercial projects and around powerlines. You will join a dedicated team responsible for developing and carrying out vegetation management strategies, tree risk assessments and removal and pruning in line with contract clearance and regulations

 

Location

MPDT have some of Queensland’s best tourism destinations at our doorstep, allowing for sensational backdrops, unique travel opportunities and epic work locations. MPDT is located in Cairns, Mossman & Port Douglas, Townsville, and Brisbane

• Experienced Arborist or Tree Climber
• Eligible for 417 Working Holiday Visa
• Valid Driver’s License
• MR truck license (or willingness to obtain)
• Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
