Experienced cutters required near Bath/Bristol

Hi everyone

 

I have a small firewood business and need help with felling, winching and stacking timber in some private woodlands I am working in.

 

I have a small Valtra tractor, farmi winch and timber trailer. The machinery is old but sound, well serviced and efficient. Doing the felling, winching and driving the tractor on my own isn't efficient however, so I need someone who is reliable, fit, strong, sensible and knows how to handle a saw. It will also be much safer for me to have help.

 

Ideally I need someone who has forestry experience, with their own saws and knows how to maximise their time felling and tidying the timber, ready for hauling.

 

Also someone who leaves their phone in their truck would be good!

 

It would be on an adhoc basis, not on salary but happy to discuss day rates and I will always be fair and open - just need a good guy (or girl) who loves being outdoors, does a good day's hard graft and is chilled.
