45Hr Working Week – Mon - Fri
About Us:
Greenwillows Associates is a multidisciplinary family run company who support an array of commercial and domestic clients, who’s projects span from small scale developments to large scale infrastructure all over East Anglia. Greenwillows is also involved in various conservation schemes and projects for Local Authorities, Trusts and other partners.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced arborist climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess good arboricultural knowledge and demonstrate a genuine interest for tree care. Proficiency in climbing capabilities with 2 years minimum experience in various technical aspects of tree work are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform tree pruning and removal adhering to BS3998 and industry best practice both from ground and aerial work positionings.
• Perform vegetation clearance tasks by use of handheld or land-based mechanical tools and machines.
• Occasionally conduct tree works assessments and provide suitable recommendations for appropriate tree care and maintenance works.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Work closely and collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality tree care services over both Arboriculture and Ecology departments.
Requirements:
• Full valid U.K driving licence
• NPTC units CS30, 31, 38, 39
• Proven experience as an arborist climber. (A short duration recreational climb may be required)
• Good arboricultural knowledge and understanding of basic tree biology.
• Proficiency in climbing techniques and equipment usage.
• Ability to work independently (when suitable) and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach.
• Willingness to occasionally support ecological and conservation projects.

· 1b MEWP and CS47 Unit
· CS40 Pruning
· CS41 Rigging
