Job description

Duties:
- Perform tree maintenance tasks such as Pruning, Trimming, Felling and Shaping Trees
- Inspect trees for diseases, pests, and structural issues
- Remove dead or hazardous branches using appropriate equipment and climbing techniques
- Operate and maintain various power tools and equipment for tree care
- Plant and transplant trees, shrubs, and other plants
- Install and maintain irrigation systems for proper tree and plant hydration
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Dig holes for planting and perform other manual labor tasks as needed

 

Skills:

- NPTC Certification CS30/31/38/39 - strongly desired
- Knowledge of arboriculture principles and practices
- Familiarity with different tree species and their specific care requirements
- Ability to safely operate hand tools such as pruners, loppers, and saws
- Proficiency in operating power tools such as chainsaws and wood chippers
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail to ensure proper tree care techniques are followed
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members

- Towing Licence (B+E). - Preferred

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £23,453.57-£31,412.92 per year DOE

• Arborist: 1 year (preferred)

 

Licence/Certification:
