We are looking for an experienced Consultant Arborist to join our growing passionate and professional team, providing high quality arboricultural advice to a broad range of clients. Your duties would include:
  • Complete field work for tree management plans, tree inventories, focused tree health, hazard assessments and similar urban forestry projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of plans for councils to deliver an implementable program towards a sustainable urban forest.

  • Assist with completion of existing contracts including tree evaluations, tree inventories, arboricultural reports, tree impact analysis, mitigation measure formulation, and related arboricultural tasks.
  • Develop & support our Plant Health Care Program, including decompaction, soil amelioration, mulching.
Your skills and experience:
  • Level 6 NZQA Diploma in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Relevant training in tree risk assessment such as TRAQ or QTRA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to converse to a variety of customers & clients
  • A leader in the Arboriculture industry that has an exceptional understanding of best practices, Health & Safety, and compliance standards.
