The 56th Arboricultural Association Conference features a new format that delivers fantastic content, better value and more opportunities to catch up with old friends and colleagues, and meet like-minded professionals. On Sunday delegates are invited to attend the Masters final of the 2023 UK & Ireland Tree Climbing Competition, followed by a drinks reception. The seminar and workshop sessions will take place on Monday and Tuesday in the spectacular new Warwick University Oculus Conference centre. The field trip will take place on Wednesday featuring more conference content and a guided tour of some of the best trees at beautiful Coombe Abbey.

Why the new format?

Feedback from delegates in person and reviewing the post conference surveys showed a trend, with many saying they could not justify three full days away from the office. Discussions with partners around the world also highlighted the need for in person conferences to do things differently, with so much high-quality online content available for free. The new conference format is intended to offer flexibility, so those that wish to attend the full three days, plus Sunday’s activities can still do so. While those who can only attend two days will have access to all the presentations and workshop sessions. The change also means a reduction in the cost of a whole Conference package ticket.
