We are recruiting for an experienced lead climber/team leader to join the expanding workforce in the Cheshire area.

 

As a lead climber, you will be expected to perform Arboricultural duties to the highest standard and have a proactive approach to assisting the management of health and safety at all times. You will be required to work Monday to Friday between 730AM and 430PM. Overtime may also be available.

 

Key responsibilities and duties:

-To carry out arboricultural duties to the highest standard including dismantling and lowering operations.

-To ensure vehicle is appropriately equipped for days activities

-To carry out site specific risk assessments

-To liaise with clients on site

-To ensure adequate checks and inspection records are carried out for all plant and machinery and vehicles used to undertake vehicle and chipper/trailer inspections

 

Essential Qualifications:

NPTC Units: CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39

Driving license (with class C+E or D+E)

 

Desirable Qualifications:

NPTC units CS40, CS41, CS47, Brushwood Chipper operations, Stump grinder operations, Safe use of pesticides (PA1 & PA6)

Signing, lighting and guarding

CSCS Operative

IPAF MEWP
