A great opportunity has become available for someone looking for a long term roll, with lots of variety. 

 

English Willow primarily make cricket bat clefts which are exported to countries such as India and Pakistan. We are looking for new team members, ideally with a forestry background, plus tree felling knowledge and licenses. 

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a thriving team, and have a stable career in a constantly changing industry. The ideal applicant will have a passion for all aspects of forestry work, enjoy working outside, be a team player and take pride in their work.

 

The ideal candidate must:

 

Have experience with machines such as winches, loader tractors and chainsaws

NPTC CS30/31 34/35

2-3 years experience

Have a full clean UK driving license 

Have a trailer license

Be able to provide references to confirm the above

Day to day workings:

Tree felling - 

Every few weeks, from local plantations to sites further afield. 

 

Tree planting & maintenance - 

In the Spring & Autumn - from local plantations to sites further afield. 

 

Milling - 

At the yard near Banbury. Very interesting, satisfying and skilled work.
