Fairways Contracting Limited (Solihull, Birmingham) are looking to appoint a full time experienced arboriculturist with tree survey experience to head its busy tree surgery department. The role will require you to undertake tree surveys for our large Midlands client base of schools, businesses, sports clubs, and domestic customers, prepare quotations for any work, and arrange the work to be undertaken by one of our teams of tree surgeons.

The successful candidate will have a nationally recognised qualification in Arboriculture and a professional tree inspection qualification. Ability to monitor contracts and use AutoCAD or similar are essential along with the preparation of risk assessments/method statements and tender packages.

We are looking to embark on Arboriculture Association accreditation for the company and you will be expected to assist in this and in increasing the size of the department both in terms of staff and turnover.

The applicant will manage profitability of the contracts/tree department and ensure that the standard of service delivery is not compromised.
