We are looking for a local subcontractor for regular work. We specialise in conservation and woodland management, working with private land owners and larger organisations such as Natural England, Forestry England, Tilhill and the Wildlife Trusts. We carry out a range of tasks from selective felling and thinning operations, low impact forestry using an alpine tractor and working horses, as well as more traditional conservation operations such as scrub clearance, ride/glade management, coppicing and hedge laying. We also do a bit of domestic tree care, so people with aerial rescue and climbing experience are very welcome.

EFAW+F and Small Fell are welcome, but the most important thing for me is a passion and respect for the natural world and a willingness and enthusiasm to learn. We can offer you a good rate, a friendly and respectful working environment and regular work across West Dorset, East Devon and South Somerset.

Check out greenmandorset.co.uk for more info and drop me an email if you’re interested.
