Level Three Qualification.

Hello All.

I am currently a lecturer at a land based college teaching arboriculture to level 3 and foundation degree students. I primarily teach on practical sessions (climbing, pruning, felling, etc,) and wondered if there were any other lecturers who subscribe to this site. I would be interested to know how many female students you have at levels 2 and 3, and how you accomodate them in terms of inclusiveness with particular focus on the practical elements where more physically demanding aspects of the course are involved. Further to this I would be interested to learn if your establishment employs any special strategies to increase the uptake of female students.

Thanks
