Climber required in Whitstable, Kent

We require a fully qualified Tree Surgeon / Arborist to join our family business based in Whitstable in Kent and work on a self employed basis.  The position is for 5 days a week but can be flexible with other freelance climbers if not available for all 5. The candidate must be qualified and have 2 years experience as a climber.  The candidate should be able to carry out the below tasks with confidence along with all tasks including clearing up, wood chipping and tool maintenance and working well as part of the team –

 

All aspects of tree surgery on large and small trees

Hedging large and small

 

A day rate of pay will be discussed individually with the candidate and will be based on their experience and qualifications. We pay for courses if required whilst working with company such as First Aid, towing etc.

 

This position is available immediately.

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude along with good levels of fitness.

 

Certificates required:

 

NPTC certificates or equivalent – CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39.

 

You must provide you own full PPE and climbing equipment. Due to insurance reasons, this position is only open to candidates aged over 25 with a full clean driving licence in order to drive the work vehicles.
