Hello,

I’ve done some reading around on the subject of olive tree pruning and there seems to be a wealth of information from this forum so hope you can help.

I’ve been asked to see to a very lopsided olive, caused by another tree growing alongside which will be removed. Im looking to looking to improve the shape of the tree as at present it is leaning over at 45°. I’m reasonably confident from what I’ve seen that it can be pruned pretty hard, but wanted a view in whether to do it all in one go, or over a number of years.

Many thanks for any advice - I’m hoping not to kill it by getting it wrong.
