Salary - Up to £8.75 per hr - 40 hrs a week - Fixed Term contract until 30/09/18 with possibility of extension over the winter.

 

Due to recent contract awards Glendale is now recruiting staff for immediate start throughout Somerset & Wiltshire. Working with our Countryside teams, you will be required to support our grass cutting rounds and vegetation management works. Carrying out routine maintenance of vegetation along river banks, open spaces, public parks and public rights of way, the ideal candidates will hold a brush cutter certificate, emergency 1st aid and water safety, as well as practical experience of grass cutting using strimmers and mowers. Training can be provided for the right candidates.

 

An understanding of countryside management and a basic ID of invasive species and wild flowers is desirable but not essential. A drivers licence is essential. 

 

Start location will be at our offices at near Bristol Airport and Blandford Forum as well as clients offices locally. Nominal hours 8am-4.30pm Mon - Fri though working patterns will be altered to suit individual clients.
