Do you want to work within a family owned farm and become a key member of the team?

Are you pro-active and flexible in your approach to work?

Are you experienced with field grown trees and take pride in producing top quality plants?

 

Our client seeks an experienced Tree Farm Manager to oversee the day to day management of the Christmas tree operations.

 

Key Points:

•Daily management of the Christmas tree plantations

•Working independently as well as able to manage a small team

•Crop maintenance, weed control, planting and harvesting

•Able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

 

Must Haves:

•Proven knowledge of field production with 2 years previous experience

•Experience with leading a team

•Background in either Forestry or Horticulture

•Flexible approach to work and happy to take on other duties in the wider estate

Knowledge of growing Christmas trees will be a distinct advantage but training can be given. The ability to drive a tractor as well as holding a spraying licence will be an advantage. A chainsaw certificate is essential for this position.
