Lead climber required - £30k pa PAYE

Complete Tree Care is a medium sized arboricultural contractor based on the outskirts of west London. They have been trading since 2001 and have an established client base consisting of commercial and domestic clients, including several large social landlords as well as prestigious central London estates/squares. They are Arboricultural Association Approved Contractors and also hold many other accreditations including, CHAS, Trust Mark and Construction Line. Operating with two to three teams of staff they require a Lead Climber to replace an employee who is returning to Ireland.

 

This is a varied position and involves all aspects of tree work from cyclical pruning to large individual take downs and sectional felling. The work is well priced with negotiated contracts with an emphasis on quality as well as value - rather than high volume street tree pruning! Equipped with a smart purpose built vehicle and new plant and machinery you will be responsible for a two or three man team. As well as hands on work you will be expected to liaise with clients and price works, including some VTA (Visual Tree Assessment).

 

Candidates must qualified to NPTC CS39, have two years climbing experience and hold a current UK driving licence. The basic pay is £15PH for a forty hour week PAYE. There is also the opportunity to increase earnings through over time. In addition the company organises and pays for a tailored programme of training and would expect team leaders to take additional qualifications such as CS41, MEWP and E trailer licence.  There is 28 days paid annual leave.

If you are interested in commuting we are based just off the A4 and start at 6:30am and finish at 3:30pm so you should miss most of the traffic!
