Our client is a large national utility contractor providing engineering and vegetation management services to electricity distributor network operators  in several areas of the UK. They employ more than 500 staff nationally. Their ability to deliver overhead electricity and vegetation services simultaneously using directly employed staff is unique and it enables clients  to achieve a reduced number of shutdowns

They are urgently seeking up to 10 members of cutting staff to cover Lincs, reporting to an office in Newark. Arborists and groundsmen are required  to assist in any climbing duties needed for the clearance of vegetation surrounding power lines, in accordance with safe working practices

NPTCS for the use of the saw are required, although training will be given for the electrical tickets if necessary.

Performance related pay is offered with earnings averaging out at £33,200 for a climber, £31,600 for Groundsmen and £36,900 for  Foremen.
