Hello my question is...

I have a makita dcs9010 with 25" makita bar and a 20" oregon bar they both run 1.5mm chains. I'm wondering if I buy an adaptor plate to convert from 14mm to 12mm bar studs would they be ok to use on my stihl ms461 as Well as they usually run 1.6mm chains n bars. I would mainly be using the 20" bar.
