Temporary Tree Officer Needed South London Council up to £31,953 p/a PAYE

Our client is a south London borough who are looking to engage a temporary Tree Officer on a 6 month contract. The borough is ethnically diverse, with a young and growing population.

 

This is a senior role primarily focused on planning and development within the borough. It will involve all aspects of tree management including proactive tree inspections; all aspects of administration including tree work applications/appeals and Tree Preservation Orders; High Hedge applications; development management consultations; and responding to enquiries from stakeholders regarding the above.

 

Suitable candidates would ideally have experience within a technical role, and hold Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Arboriculture (QCF) or equivalent arboriculture qualification. Pay range is between £28,440 and £31,953 p/h PAYE depending on experience.
