Hi sorry I know we've prob had this thread a million times I had a quick search and couldn't find enough to help me.

So I would like an as powerful as possible detailing electric saw. That is capable of doing the odd meaningful cut.

Are cordless any good battery life and power etc.

I'm going to start carving in a tin barn and want as little noise as possible.

Any help much appreciated.

I have a Makita 5012B set up with a quarter tip bar that really screams-- high revs for an electric. It has a manual oiler, so you have to keep pumping it. I also have to keep tightening the chain. Still, I really like it for in-garage detail work.

My bigger electric is a Worx. It is a cheap saw but not bad for an electric.
