Rail Arborist - North West up to £10.57 p/h PAYE

Our client is a large national green services contractor providing a full range of integrated landscape solutions to large commercial and public sector clients through out the UK. This includes grounds maintenance, landscape construction and arboriculture. Established in the 1970s, the company has grown substantially since 2005 as a result of three large acquisitions and a policy of aggressive tendering. Turnover is now nearly £50m and the company plans to continue this expansion and become the leading provider of green services in the UK.

 

As a major player in the Utility Arboriculture sector our client has asked us to assist in sourcing Arborists/Climbers in the North (Liverpool, Manchester and Preston area).

The Arborist/Climber will be working in a team of 3 undertaking all aspects of arboricultural work (including felling,pruning, crown lifting, reduction and thinning) alongside the rail way line. Therefore the successful candidate will need to be accomplished in rigging and complex tree work and hold excellent knowledge of tree identification and arboricultural

practices. Experience and competency certificates in use of chippers and stump grinder is also essential successful candidate will need to have previous experience in a similar role, be conscious of the strict health and safety environment in which they are working and be a motivated, team player, able to work under pressure and to tight

deadlines.

 

A competitive salary plus benefits is offered of between £19000 and £22000 plus paid annual leave and paid CPD/training. There are also opportunities to progress within the company as it continues to expand and diversify its services.
