climbers/ground staff full time Somerset

[Mendip trees]

We are looking for experienced climbers and ground staff to join a dynamic tree team as part of are on going push to grow and improve the company.

 

You will be asked to work as part of a team working on commercial and domestic sites carrying out various types of tree work from site clearance to working with veteran and ancient trees.

 

We prize ourselves on being able to think outside the box and achieve goals that others may not think possible e.g. using up to date techniques to retain valuable trees

 

Climbers:

•Minimum of CS30,31,38,39 and level 2 Arb qualification.

•Must be able to prune to BS 3998 and have a good basic tree knowledge.

•driving licence (B+E a bonus)

•Must by hard working, have good time keeping and be a team player

 

Ground staff:

•Minimum of CS30,31, and level 2 Arb qualification.

•Must have a good basic tree knowledge.

•driving licence (B+E a bonus)

•Must by hard working, have good time keeping and be a team player

 

Any other tickets and qualifications such as first aid, CSCS, chipper, level 3/4 Arb or relevant wood be excellent but not essential as on going training will be provided

 

full and part time PAYE and self employed positions available. all equipment and PPE supplied

 

Rates of pay depend on experience and ability
