I use a steel fixed eye Krab on the end of a lowering rope for quick hassle free rigging. But.... one of the biggest cause of rows whilst rigging is the time taken to detach the Krab, the rope is can be tricky to get in and out of the gate whilst wearing thick gloves/rain/shouty climber so I had this idea.   A fixed eye on the end as normal with another running free along the line for easy attchement/detachment.
