Over the years there has been an air of confusion surrounding the Yale Machine Assisted Splice (MAX Splice) some thinking that a machine produces the splice with no human element, rope in one end out pops a splice! Yale Cordage has just released a small video to help explain how the MAX Splice is actually produced. The machine element of the process is only used to complete the bury of the splice allowing for consistency in manufacture. The power of this machine which was developed by Yale allows them to retain the Core in the eye where others will remove the core for ease. This splice is fully CE Certified to the EN1891 standard.
