  1. Considering a potentially long term move to Germany. Does anyone know how easy it is to find work there currently? I've 5+ years climbing experience and a foundation degree in arb so am hopeful despite visa complications etc. I'll be looking around the Hanover area. Info of any kind is greatly appreciated! 😁
  2. Evening everyone, First time posting on here?, just putting some feelers out for potential work abroad In Australia or New Zealand for 2021. Currently based in South Wales with 2 years experience in the Arb/Rope Access industry, working as a subbie. I’ve travelled Australia and New Zealand previously and I have been looking for the opportunity to go back. Can provide a CV and multiple references. [email protected] Cheers everyone.
  3. Ok, here's an idea for a thread - lets post vids of people doing dangerous things with chainsaws and then analyse and discuss. I'm sticking this one up as it's just come online this evening. I was horrified at certain points. I suppose most everyone on here will instantly identify the moment of maximal danger in the vid, but maybe give some of the less experienced members a chance to think about it and comment? I don't know, maybe this idea is a late night waste of time...I'd me keen to scrutinise any vids other members can find and share though, but not the obvious fails, obviously.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
