  1. We’re hiring! We are looking for capable, hard-working, no-drama arborists to work with us on utilities (WPD) and private work in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. We are a small, family run business with over 20 years industry experience and looking to expand by getting a new team together. We know firsthand that being an arb is a difficult and highly skilled job and we will pay accordingly. Full or part time positions available for the right people – we need reliability, professionalism and honesty. In return we will offer between £30,000 and £40,000+ P.A (pro rata) dependent on qualifications and experience, with additional bonuses offered for good performance. Must haves: First Aid UA1 CS30/31 Aerial Rescue Preferred: WPD Authorised Driving License Self employed (IR35 compliant) and Utility Surveying positions also available.   2. About the job Would you like to work for a respected, forward thinking and well established AA Approved Company? We are based near Thame in Oxfordshire and are looking for an experienced person to join us as a lead climber also able to work within the team in a variety of roles. The work is varied and interesting with a strong emphasis on quality. You will be given all of the resources you need to deliver high quality tree work for a range of clients. You will be part of an experienced team with a good work ethic. You will need to have very good climbing and pruning skills and be able to undertake rigging operations. A reasonable knowledge and genuine interest in arboriculture as well as the practical skills will be expected. The successful applicant will need to communicate effectively and work well with others. Experience with MEWPs and cranes would also be an advantage. We are looking for a candidate who is professional, reliable and adaptable to the range of work and clients that we have. In return we offer a competitive salary with bonus scheme, full holiday entitlements and the opportunity to train further and progress. Preferred Skills English and Maths to a good level. CS tickets up to 41 Experience with MEWPS & cranes. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. Full UK license, HGV would be useful.
