  2. Our client is a north London borough who are looking to engage a temporary Tree Officer for circa 4 months with the opportunity of a permanent contract for the right candidate. This role will cover all aspects of administration including pro active tree inspections,tree work applications/appeals and Tree Preservation Orders and responding to enquiries from stakeholders regarding the above. The Ezytreev system is used. Suitable candidates would ideally have experience within a technical role, and hold a Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Arboriculture and/or Lantra Professional Tree Inspection ; qualified entry level candidates will also be considered .   3. Our client is a local authority in Bedfordshire. They have a busy tree section and are looking to employ another full time Tree Officer. The Tree Officer role is responsible for managing the council tree stock, this will involve taking tree related enquiries from the public, inspecting trees in line with council policy and where appropriate specifying remedial works and carrying out Tree Inspections. They use the Treewise system. Candidates ideally should have prior technical experience either as a Tree Officer or Tree Inspector and hold a level three or four qualification in arboriculture or closely related subject. However, candidates who have experience within Arboriculture, with a Level 3/4 qualification in Arb and who are looking for their first technical role will also be considered. The position is initially to be employed on a temporary basis for three months and there will be the opportunity to transfer to permanent for the right candidate. Pay rate circa £12.16-£13.48 PH PAYE. In the short term this assignment can be flexible with the opportunity to work part time so could suit a self employed Consultant whilst the position is being advertised. Our client is based in the east midlands/north and are looking to employ Tree Inspectors on a permanent contract to undertake the rolling tree survey of trees under the control of the Authority, assist with the organisation of maintenance regimes and instruct works in the most cost effective manner'. Based in the forestry department the positions will also involve the inspection of woodland trees and provision of advice to other departments and agencies. Suitable candidates will hold a level three qualification in arboriculture and have 12 months post qualification experience; ideally within a technical role. A driving licence is essential.   7. Opportunity to work for a large east midlands local authority's tree section. Employing several Tree Officers and Inspectors our client not only manages their own authority trees, but also those of several neighbouring councils. They also have a direct work force of arborists who maintain the council's trees. They currently have funding for an additional Trees and Woodlands Officer for 6 months on a 3 day per week basis. This position reports to the Trees and Woodlands Manager and is responsible for both the management of the council's tree stock and the provision of technical advice to other council departments - for example planning in connection with protected trees. Candidates will need to be qualified to a minimum of level 3 in arboriculture and ideally have previous technical experience. LANTRA professional tree inspection would be an advantage. A full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes is essential (mileage paid). Rate of pay circa £13.50 PAYE or £16.75PH contract, plus mileage.
