  1. Hi I have a Lebanese cedar in my garden that was planted 20 years ago but it never grew wall, in fact it hardly grew at all. We are moving house and I have potted the tree in expectation for the move. During the transplanting operation the roots suffered some damage, it was very difficult to dig it out, otherwise the tree seems fine. I watered abundantly the tree on the first day, a bit more on the second and I left it stay. I gave a bit of Dragonfly Roots boost to the soil and I also read a very light solution of sugar with water also helps which I also did. This is about 10 days since I potted the tree and it now rapidly losing it's needles. I am tempted of replacing the soil all together, but I worry I can make things worse. Any suggestions? Many thanks
  2. Hi all, I have had an email today from a demo firm offering a mature magnolia tree for sale on an old school site. I dont know anything about transplanting so I thought I would pass it onto you guys. I would like to learn a bit about this as I have never looked into transplanting large trees. I am currently a student and any bits of info about anything is always great to hear. There are 2 more pics but I cannot add them as it will only allow me to add 4 at a time. Is transplanting a good thing to do? but I suppose it will be felled if no buyers come forward. We all love trees!!!! Like I said, I know nothing about this and any info would be great. If anyone would like the contact details for this demo firm, please pm me. THE TREE IS LOCATED AT THE OLD FRODSHAM HIGH SCHOOL SITE, FRODSHAM CHESHIRE, WA6 6SP Thanks guys, Lee
