  1. I used to have my own successful tree surgery company for 17 years which I ceased in 2015. I have a Unimog 2450 front mounted chipper with a 30cm aperture and a variable tracked 190 Timberwolf and I am thinking of starting an operated chipper hire company. Is this something you would use on a semi regular basis? I am fully ticketed and experienced including UA5 and based in Ashford, Kent. Suggested day manned rates are £585 for the Unimog and £170 for the Timberwolf, approximately. I would really appreciate feedback on whether you would use this service and whether you think the day rates are fair. Cheers, Chris.
  2. Every year we receive various photographs of Timberwolf customers busy using their machines and with the rise of social media there are Timberwolf’s everywhere it seems. So in February and March we would like to invite Timberwolf owners to show us their WOLF and send in pictures of your Timberwolf machine in action, in a beautiful location, in an unusual location, in wild weather or just all shiny at home having a rest! So get out there with your smart phone or your camera and take a snap of your Timberwolf and email it to us at [email protected] with your name, contact details. All entrants will be put into a free draw and be in with a chance to win a Stein Sordin Grounds Safety Helmet and a pair of petzl cordex plus gloves.
  3. Tired of paying out for renting chippers... I think my money will be best invested in buying one. Really want a Timberwolf 150. Im looking to spend 3 - 6.5k... so feel this is the best chipper option, unless anyone can convince me otherwise. Trouble is... I cant find a half decent one!
  4. Hello everyone I'm new to this forum so thanks for having me and in advance for any info I gain from being on here! I'm looking at buying a second hand 13/75 Timberwolf which is perfectly adequate for the work I am capable and qualified to do. Has anyone any experience of this machine with knowledge of what I should look for as far as problems. The price is good and I have local dealer that recommended this for what I need and happy to do the servicing and even allow me to trade in against a future upgrade if necessary! As I said thanks in advance for any help and advice.
  5. Buy Now, Pay Later with Timberwolf. Get the New Year off to a great start with this buy now, pay later deal from the chip and shred experts. When placing an order on selected machinery between now and 31st January 2014 you can take advantage of our fantastic low cost finance deal and enjoy an extended three year warranty! But that’s not all! Pay nothing for the first three months and you'll also receive two sets of free blades and a free Timberwolf coat. Available on selected machines only, please call the Sales Team on 01449 765809 for more details on the chip and shred machines involved. Simply complete the online warranty form where this fantastic offer will be confirmed and additional products dispatched. Don't need finance? No problem! You can still negotiate a competitive 'cash price' with your authorised Timberwolf dealer and still qualify for the free blades and Timberwolf coat will be delivered to you. 6. Hi everyone, I require a little help please. One of our Timberwolf 150's infeed rollers stopped working today #annoying! The reverse switch works and i checked the connections and stop bar switch but no luck. I then took off the ECU cover and revved the machine up to full chat and the control box showed a red light with the title "speed fault 2/h". Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it? Any help in fixing the issue would be most helpful! yours Mitch
  7. Hello, I bought a Timberwolf 125PH and I'm trying to get hold of a manual, but in the meantime I wonder if someone would mind sending me pictures of the location of the grease points so that I can grease it in the mean time? Thanks, Christian. Shadow of the Apple Tree [email protected] Shadow Of The Apple Tree: Tree Surgeon, Hedge Cutting, Felling, Tunbridge Wells, Kent
