  1. Hey All. Couldn’t access my old login so have opened a new account. I run a contractor business in Bristol. We had our Timberwolf 230DHB stolen yesterday. Team took their eyes off it for less than 15 minutes. Hooked up to the truck but not locked. TIMBERWOLF 230DHB Chipper. Serial No. : 35A6KS209187 If anyone is offered one for sale in the Bristol area or anywhere, please check the serial number (if it hasn’t been removed). The level of hate I have for these types cannot be described.
  2. Hi there. New to this forum. My husbands unit was burgled for the 4th time last night. A very distinctive bright pink chipper was taken. It is the standard Timberwolf variety, custom made in pink. Please can you all keep your eyes out for it; there are unlikely to be any others in the country, so if you spot it please either report it to the police or message me here. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi all. Thought I would post as noticed another user has been robbed. I dropped in to do a quote on route from a job yesterday. Whilst with the client the scumbags helped themselves to a Stihl ms661 2015 model. Also a 365xp husqvarna with a 372 recoil assembly. Both had brand new gb bars Stihl 25" husky 20". All on camera but reg not clear so case closed. They tried to get a 560 but dropped it running off fortunately. Silver grey transit swb... bye bye saws Martin
  4. Last night in Horfield Bristol my truck was broken into and from it were stolen two saws and a blower, all Stihl. 1 hand held blower with blue spray paint on it. 1 200T with a Sugihara bar, serial number 170899369 1 362C serial number 177804045 There's a chance they were caught on cctv smashing the boarded window on the tool cab and fishing the saws out with one of our poles. If anybody heard anything or is offered these for sale please can you contact me on 07817 417 529. The truck belongs to the firm but the saws belong to myself and my team mate and are not covered by insurance so any information would be very much appreciated. Nile Cookson.
  5. Just wanted to let everyone know we were burgled at our premises last night, it was a very well planned raid and they got just about everything useful, chippers survived. We lost an MS660,MS261, 200T and all out rigging gear and climbers kit. All machines are engraved "Hawkes Trees" and CO9 4HP. They are also smart watered. Seems rife around us at the minute with a lot of farms getting done too Steve
  6. YOU ARE BEING WATCHED WHILE YOU WORK, DON'T FORGET. Today we've just had our 3rd theft working in North London, today it was Queensbridge Road in Hackney E8. Last time it was Winnington Road in Hampstead N2, the first time it was Tufnell Park Road in Islington N7. ON EACH OCCASION A PARKED CAR WITH 2 THIEVES HAVE EXAMINED THE MOVEMENTS OF OUR GROUNDSMEN BEFORE STRIKING. Once they expect they have about 60 SECONDS clear they go in. We had a Timberwolf 150 nicked in broad daylight in the rush hour in the Islington hit, they stuck it on a Volvo, the police were a joke, quite how you can have no CCTV footage from any road is beyond me. Today we had an MS660 taken from the cab, window smashed, alarm is unbelievably loud, these travellers are prepared to take any risk necessary, they are ready to fight because they will have a tool and you won't. JUST REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE BEING WATCHED WHILE YOU ARE WORKING
  7. Hi all, Walked my dog about an hour ago and came across what looks like an elder tree. That's not the odd bit, but this is, it is sat at an angle root ball on the pavement and the canopy side of it resting on the hedge. Now i know this corner is an accident hotspot and all the (i beleive to be) elders in the hedge row are a good 9 may be 10ft high and most are leaning into the road/pavement ready to come down, (all dead of course) now i don't know why this tree being a good 9ft high is sat blocking the pavement the way it is. is there anybody who knows if maybe this is an attempt to hi jack a car ? it is on a main road side who could i contact to make them aware asap. Many Thanks
  8. Evening all...... Went down to pick some bits up from my (shared) yard in Shipley, W Sussex at 8:30 on Sun night. Found my faithful old Transit gone, office and workshop broken into and Daihatsu Fourtrak 4x4 with knackered locks and steering column, hand tools and other bits gone off with the Transit. Other vehicles and buildings broken into. The other firm I share with had been in at 5pm and nothing was out of place so we can only assume that we had visitors who were in and out across the fields very quickly. The frost helped them get the truck out through the woods and fields to the road about 1/2 mile away without disturbing the front gates. Transit's number is K926 MOU..... Distinctive two tone colour scheme and very distinctive Atlas crane behind cab. Ex Bristol Water with approx 75k miles on the clock. All credit to Sussex Police, uniformed officers were straight out and on the case.... Please send a PM if you spot anything, bearing in mind the truck could now be off to be used in robbing other people.
