  1. Arb Access Ltd carry out de-vegetation services, tree work contracts and rope access services to a number of large scale projects across the UK. Specialising in the utilities sector, Arb Access Ltd provide services for Network Rail, Thames water and a number of other commercial contracting firms. www.arbaccess.co.uk The Job Profiles Currently On Offer: - Climbers Qualified to NPTC CS38/CS39 - Experienced Groundsmen Qualified to CS30/CS31 minimum - Supervisor/On Site Leaders - Rope Access Technicians and Level 3 Rope Access Supervisors - COSS/PTS or other railway related qualifications would be desirable but not essential. Competitive salary will be offered depending on experience and qualifications. Our selection process with have a strong focus on understanding the candidates short and long term career progression goals. Arb Access are committed to supporting the overall development of our people, by encouraging personal ambition and enthusiasm. Arb Access are currently involved with long term contracts on the railways in areas including Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. We are currently looking for ways to grow our company by employing three more of the right enthusiastic individuals, who can share our success and enjoy being a part of our diverse and upbeat team. There are many different career opportunities for an arborist / rope access technician working within the rail sector, and with the future developments planned for the UK rail infrastructure, there has never been a better time to become involved with this thriving industry. In order to work alongside the railways, all operatives require a PTS (Personal Track Safety) Qualification. They will also be required to attend a full medical exam and drug and alcohol test prior to being accepted onto a PTS (Personal Track Safety) course. We are prepared to discuss funding opportunities to give the right individuals access to the necessary rail qualifications and as Arb Access Ltd are a member of RISQS, we can provide Sponsorship to enable individuals to access the railways and start their careers. Minimum Requirements for successful candidates: Qualified to a minimum of CS30/CS31. Qualified in climbing (CS38, CS39, CS40, CS41) would be desirable but not essential. We are seeking a climbing team to join our firm, but just as interested in meeting strong groundsmen, too! The individuals should be respectful to others and hardworking, ensuring a dedicated and accountable team of people. Strong understanding and the right attitude towards the importance of Health and Safety within this industry. A basic qualification in First aid is essential on site. Training will be provided if required. The right candidate must be prepared to work away during week days when required, with accommodation and travel expenses paid in full. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm). Overtime is usually available over weekends for those that may be interested. Driving licence would be advantageous as would the ability to tow. Candidate(s) would be required to report to our yard based in Devon to travel to site in our fleet vehicles, or alternatively, candidate(s) would need to make their own way to worksites (Currently in Wiltshire, Bristol and Exeter) on a Monday morning. The right candidate must be prepared and willing to show determination for achieving the overall objectives of the Company, and must respect our ambitions as firm.
