    Wildlings Wood

Community wellbeing and veg growing scene.
  2. Hi, is this something you can help with? See below for more detail. After moving into a property last year, that wasn't left in the best condition, a lot of work has gone into cleaning up our large garden, removing rubbish left by previous tenants, clearing overgrown...well, everything. This year I've been able to finish tidying and cleared a large area for plants/flowers, a space for fruit and vegetable beds and I've just sourced a few young fruit trees waiting to be delivered to start a small food forest over the coming years. I now have lots of bare ground that I'm looking to mulch with woodchip, paths between beds (see image that I did this year from recycled pallet wood and wet soft smashed up, with a hammer, wood found in the garden), and a pretty heavy mulch of woodchip for the food forest floor. I'm trying to design our garden (as I go!) some what based on permaculture principles and a key aspect of this is to repurpose waste where possible, so thought I would try posting here, one man's trash is another's treasure after all. I have a large enough drop space (3m/10ft wide, 4m+ length) to accept a tipping of the recommended minimum load and above of clean woodchip, shouldn't matter if it's from freshly cut, wind feln or dead/diseased trees/branches, with plenty of space to reverse in, drop and done, could also use logs you might have as fire pit seats but it's not a requirement, only if you have several thrown on top after a job. I share a drive space with a neighbour so drop should be as much on my concrete drive and towards house as possible, again there is plenty of space so this should be easy, here is an image from house view, phone cam so looks smaller than it is. I know it's a free listing but if this sounds like a good on the way home drop there's 8 cans of budweiser I have left over for thanks too. Thanks!

    The Orchard

We accept all untreated wood, stumps, chips, and organic matter for our chicken run and orchard. Happy to pay with cash and will throw in fresh eggs, fruits, and nuts when seasonally available.
  4. We are a small community project with 3 acres of land. We are creating a communal allottment, grow within a polytunnel, and have plenty of volunteers. We are using Permaculture principles in our development and need a constant supply of wood logs, chippings, and garden waste to prepare the land for our crops. We are not always on the land and we require that any tippers make contact to arrange a delivery first.

    30 Grove Park Garden

Any woodchip or log tip is very welcome and hugely appreciated, we have a large communal garden at the back of the house, woodchip is excellent for paths, mulch, compost, biochar making and soil building. Access is very easy straight to the driveway next to bins on top of a wood chip covered drive already, from the main road number 30 Grove Park on the right just up the hill from Chadwick Road large tipper lorry can drive straight up and tip! Thanks so much.

    Rich's House

I'm looking for wood chips from winter pruning and/or chipped crown reductions (mix of leaves and wood) to fuel my developing permaculture garden. Depending on what I receive I'll either use directly as mulch or else compost it for a time. Happy for materials to be emptied onto driveway with my consent!
  8. Free, open access anytime. Blue egg cart at bottom of drive. Tip site is on the left of the drive in the grassy layby
  9. Hi, I'll happily take woodchips - mostly hardwood please for my forest garden project. I also have 2 allotments, one in Criftins (Dudleston Heath) and one in Ellesmere needing woodchips. Please call beforehand to check space available. Hardwood cordwood also accepted. Many Thanks.
