  1. Hi everyone, hows it. Just got back from a lekker trip in South Africa to visit my girlfriends family. Could anyone provide me with some hard facts/truths regarding potential opportunities to work within the Arb industry for a Brit in SA?! Love to hear from saffas or anyone else which has also tried to do so. Currently have 3 years experience with majority of the NPTC tickets and also my IRATA level 1 rope access. Thanks In advance.
  2. Hi there I am looking for work in and around Nottingham area I have been a groundsman for about 6months and I am a really hard worker. Work has run dry so looking on here for anything else?
  3. I am currently a Dairy farmer and looking for a career change into Tree Surgery. I have a background in Outdoor Education so have done plenty of climbing (Rocks), and I’m not scared of physical outdoor work, in all Conditions. I just wanted to ask if anyone had any advice on how to get into the industry? I would love to do a course to get me qualified but understand that I will need to keep learning for a good few years in the Industry. In in particular I need to know, what qualifications would I need before I can start earning money? Do people usually have an employer in mind before committing to a course to gain qualifications ? Thanks in in advance for any advice, Cheers!
  4. Having successfully secured several contracts, predominately in the Midlands area, we are seeking suitably qualified and experienced individuals to enhance our workforce. Applicants will be required to work at various locations throughout the country including some Weekends. Arborists and Climbers must hold NPTC certificates. PTS (Personal Track Safety) and full Driving Licence are desirable as works are routinely within the Rail environment. Lineside Structure Maintenance Limited is based in Nottingham and has been operating for over 20 years. We are able to offer competitive rates of pay and comprehensive Training and Development. www.lineside.co.uk
