  1. I know I need to replace the bricks and the baffle plate in my Morso, but I can't tell what the baffle plate should be. Someone has put in what I think is their own version of a baffle plate. It's flat and sits horizontally with some fins welded to the top of it. When I look at Morso parts, the baffle plate spares look nothing like what's in mine. My firebricks are probably not Morso either, I'm guessing. They just sit square and I can't see how the angled baffle plate I can see on spares sites would fit on top of the firebricks I have. The door to my Morso says its a 1809 model and I just want to get it working as efficiently as possible. Advice on the baffle plate (back plate too? There is none) and the bricks would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi all, I have been reading these forums for weeks and can't make my mind up about a new stove (woodburner or multi-fuel). I'm between the Morso 3112, 3116, 4412s and the arada/hamlet widescreens. My current problem is my Mrs likes the contemporary look stoves (Badgers) and I want a good sized window. I live in Northern Ireland and the Arada/Hamlet ranges seem to be double the price here and around the same as the Morso prices. I like the look of the Morso 4412, modern with a big window, but I can't find very much online in terms of reviews or comments from people that have used them and worry about spending that much without finding any user/seller feedback. The Solution 5 widescreen and Ecoburn 5 Widescreen both have great windows and seem popular and I just can't decide if there are any pros and cons from any of the mentions models or each other. Any advice would be much appreciated
