Kubota f2400 out-front commercial diesel mower 4x4 with high lift collector. Sold for spares or repair. This mower is sold as not working, it does start after a lot of bleeding and the mower deck does work. It is 4x4 and has collection box with high lift. There is no connection tube between the deck and the collector, this could be replaced with any strong flexible tubing. The main issues are the engine sounds like it is close to dying and the radiator needs repair or replacement. Looking online a new engine for this machine is between £800-£1000. similar machines online are selling for £3600 or more. Any questions, feel free to ask.

  2. Having a new digger priced up at the moment, we have opted for the largest one we can tow that has the best reach/dump on the market. Without boring you all witht he spreadsheet with the specs of pretty much every model on the market, the KX71-3 comes out on top, its been replaced by KX040-3. It has an option of 'high spec' which gives : Im waiting on the extra cost, would this be a useful feature ? We will keep the machine for 10 years so want to get it right, a couple extra grand now for something we may not use now but could be useful in future would be no problem.
  3. Evening, looking into buying a cheap kubota b1400 tractor from a local bloke, and although I am confident it will run my saw bench, will it have enough power and weight to be able to lift my thor supermajic 18t pto splitter? Looking for a small tractor which would be my own, and at the same time be handy for manoeuvring chipper etc on larger work sites, and this is local and within budget. thanks
  4. Hi, I have a Vermeer BC150 with a kubota engine, which when you really stuff it loads for about 25 mins it then over heats. Do other people have this problem.
  5. Hi all, need some advice. I am an arborist mainly, but recently have been getting a few wood thinning/coppicing work come though. After the trees are felled they need to be piled up ready for the big boys to cart them away But what should I use to pile up the cord? Drag them about with a compact tractor. Kubota iseki yamar Or use a hand log arch, the logrite jr arch looks great, if not a little pricey at £650inc vat Any advice help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
